Lake Sentani

Well, Lake Sentani is one of the largest lake in Papua. The extent of9360 hectares and is located at an altitude of 75 meters above sea level. Tourist area is rich in diversity of marine life and animalsunique endemic Papua.

One of the highlights of Lake Sentani is the existence of a sawshark (Pristis Microdon). Her name chainsaws for shark teeth and certainly very sharp lined. This shark is also known as 'sharksSentani' because only in this location.

Sentani lake is also used as a tourist location for swimming, boating, diving, fishing, water skiing as well.

Amai Beach^^

Amai beach known as the crystal clear sea water attractions and the white sands attract tourists. The uniqueness of this Amai Beach is the beach dotted with freshwater river mouth are clear at the end of the beach and a beach area that brings the salty sea water and fresh water. Cool is not it?? It's attracted the attention:). This attraction is perfect for weekend trips with the family.

Many tourists who come to this beach for bathing and basking in the hot summer sun. Amai around the beach huts are also available for the rest.

 Amai beach is located in the District Depapre, 5 km from the beach Depapre Jayapura.

Ahe Island^^

In my post this time, I will discuss about the Ahe Island which is located in the Islands Mambor, motor boating one hour to the northeast city of Nabire. Ahe Island is the island's most popular attractions for foreign tourists, most of the time there are tourists visiting the island Ahe to enjoy its natural view. Yeah, this island is very beautiful to enjoy. Especially it provides the coolness of its natural beauty and tranquility for the visitors. In addition to landscapes, Ahe Island also has underwater scenery is no less interesting. Ahe Island has a very clean white sand of the surrounding islands. :)

Ahe Island there are also relics of old wreckage allies in World War II that most of the tables have been moved to the mainland. Waiwo Island

Wayag Island

 

Wayag island located in the District of West Waigeo, Raja Ampat regency, West Papua. The island consists of a cluster of steep karst islands shaped like a mushroom that emerged from the sea. Enjoy the beauty of the islands up close like a log in a large building with coral islands around us.

Within this coral island of calm and crystal clear sea water, even we can still see with the naked eye a variety of marine life under the water surface. Wayag see the beauty, but not complete if we did not enjoy it from the top of the atoll. In Wayag there is a coral island is generally visited by travelers. To reach the peak takes about 30 minutes. To really reach the top of this coral island requires considerable courage. Arriving on the island of coral that does not mean have peaked. We still have to climb a 3 meter-high cliff with a slope of almost 90 degrees. Once arrived at the top of the atoll, all the challenges that must be passed really paid off with a beautiful panorama shown. From the top of the coral islands we could see the splendor of the island wayag below and behind the cluster of high seas Wayag Island.

On the island there is also a dive site.
To reach the location of the island is not an easy Wayag and inexpensive. Transportation to Wayag must be taken by speedboat or long boat chartered by the relative cost of alternative mahal.Sebagai we can also use the speed boat rental directly from Sorong to Wayag. Takes about 5 hours, speed boat rental fees are priced at about USD 9 million per day. it's so cool right?:)
